  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

HID installiation bulb guide needed!!!!

I also have a 2016 Ultimate with HIDs and the factory bulbs definitely have yellow tint, like 4300K. When they are first turning on, they look like 5000K but once they get warm up (after a few mins) they turn to slightly yellowish 4300K. They are bright but the color just not matching the white DRL and the LED fog lights. I think 5000K will look great and match. I'm also planning to switch out the bulbs myself. It looks like not as easy as I thought..the D1S has bracket & screws and that tight space is not easily accessible...hmm. Is there a YT video or step by step write up on this forum? Thanks.

The stock HIDs are the worst I've seen, drove a IS250 lastnight and the brightness and sharpness of the light is leaps and bounds better than what we got.
