If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yo Guy's

Does anybody know the part# of the high beam bulb???

Has anybody tried to swap them for aftermarket xenon???

Would like to have them cool white instead of Yellow

Your high beams (according to the manual) are 55 watts.

I'd imagine there is a aftermarket kit that will fit in the slot for the high beams (e.g. the plastic insert in the casings... not the "electrical slot")... but there's always the risk of electrical short converting to aftermarket xenon... unless you REALLY know what you're doing.. be careful :) that's my caveat for the day

Make sure you have an inline fuse to the battery to prevent a short from messing up your wiring.

May I ask why you aren't happy with the halogen high beam?

I too, found distaste, in the lack of a bixenon setup,, but don't use high beams often enough to worry about it.

Hi ENJOYINGSILENCE

I use the high beams every night comming back from the gym.
I do twisting roads in the country.

The low beams are a nice bright white color.
The high are a yellow even though they are quite bright.
I find that the yellow covers up the white.
I would like to istall some Xenon super white on the high beams ( not HID )

Just trying to find the part # of the bulb taht we have.

If anyone knows???

Thank you

Bulb type ( Sylvania SilverStar High Performance Halogen High Beam Bulb )

9005 ???

I'm sure one of the members here has access to the parts database @ hyundai and can reference the part number for you.

Also, I suggest you reference color spectrums, and research how the overlay occurs from HID to halogen bulbs... just to make sure you get the desired effect :)

Has anyone tried to change them yet???

Does anyone know how to remove the HIGH beam bulb???

Please let me know

The high beam bulb size is H7.

To get to them you have to remove the front shroud that sits under the front edge of the hood and wiggle your way in to remove round weatherproof caps that cover where the bulbs are. There isn't a lot of room in there and I had to move the fuse box on the left side to get to it. I didn't feel like removing the air box on the right side to get to it but it looks like you don't have a choice to take it out to have access to the high beam bulbs.
