  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am in the process of buying a 2011 Equus Ultimate. The photo of it shows a hood ornament which I don't see on any other Equus photos. Can anyone tell me the significance of it? It doesn't lay flat on the hood like all the others I have seen. It looks more like something you would see on an old car. I like it, but just would like to know something about it.
Zoom in on the attached photo and you will see what I'm describing.

Nevermind..with a little searching I found out it is something you can buy and install for about $35 to $50.

The Korean version comes that hood ornament. Large hood ornaments are not popular in the US because kids tend to steal them, causing damage the car. Rolls Royce has a hood ornament that hides under the hood when the car is off, and pops out when car is running.
