  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

nor sure if this is normal w/ some cars but it makes me feel uneasy to say the least. driving to Vegas i decided to open her up a bit past 100. she runs great w/ 50k mikes on her, but that hood wobble at between110-120 just bothers me. i'm guessing the cross wind didn't help.
btw i tied running 87 octane in her and i could definitely notice the power diff compared to 91, but the air was also hot out there - averaged 100. it did seem to get better milage though w/ the 87.

I watch Top Gear and even the $100k+ cars start to show material flex at the speeds you're talking. Only fix I know of is the pedal one over to the left.

Try adjusting all the hood bumpers so the hood latches tighter. When you do this it will be more difficult to close, like a slam, but should help.

Never noticed the hood wobble on mine when hitting the higher speeds. And that's on one of the roughest roads around here.

Check the hood and make sure everything is tight and secure, including the hood latch. Or better yet, take it to the dealer and have them fix it under warrenty. :)

Do you catch up to your head light beams when you go the speed of light? I hate when that happens.

Light is always traveling away from the observer at the speed of light regardless of the speed of the observer.

What we learn from this: Theoretically, the Genesis is capable of time travel.

Only if you have the 1.21 gigawatt flux capacitor installed. ;)

If you go fast enough, you catch up to future model years. So deepcolor should have been able to see the '16 Genny.

Ran mine up to 120 the other day (fastest I've ever been on 4 wheels) and was smooth as silk..... and no wobbling of any car parts.... now, my nerves were a little on edge going that fast.
