  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Horn Not Working

The horn on my 2023 GV60 stopped working over the past couple days. We’ll see what the dealer finds. Given this thread, I’m surprised that there hasn’t been a recall on this yet.

Dealer said they need to replace the horns and confirmed that this has been an issue with 2023 GV60s and GV70s.

I just saw a Hyundai Technical Service Bulletin for the horn assemble in the Ioniq 6 that the horn may become inoperable due to water intrusion through the ventilation hole. They extended the warranty to 10 yrs/120k miles. I have no idea if water intrusion was the cause of any GV60 horns issues mentioned above..

Thanks for sharing that. I’m not sure what caused the horns to stop working but the dealer had to replace both of them. One of them was on backorder and had to be shipped from Korea so it took several days. According to a number of other posts, I haven’t been the only GV60 owner to have this issue. Hopefully they figure out the cause so it doesn’t happen again.

My horn is gone too. Fuse replaced but no joy. Frankly, the sound of the horn on mine has always struck me as anemic.

In almost two years I've never heard the horn, because I've never pressed it. I'll have to try to remember to check it out next time I'm in the car :ROFLMAO:
