How can I turn off stability control completely

I have my 2.0t g70 and everytime I try to drift it it just keeps on braking although I turned of the tc completely by holding the button,I figured it’s a safety thing or it’s for racing and maneuvering,so is there anyway I could turn it off completely or do I have to pull the fuse?

On most street cars, you can't turn it off. It always reactivates if the car gets out of shape. You can only do that on dedicated sports cars, like Porsche GT cars, and maybe Corvettes and such. Having said that, I'd never thought possible to drift on my stock '23 G70 2.0T with its 255 rear summer tires. It just doesn't have enough power. Maybe a very slight one with cold tires at slow speeds, but that's about it. Maybe you have it tuned to a much higher level. But yes, removing the fuse might do the trick, but I don't know. Hopefully somebody with experience with that will chime in soon. Good luck.

There’s no way to really turn everything off regarding traction and stability control other than unplugging one of the abs sensors on the front or rear wheels to deactivate abs and stability control will be deactivated with it .. or maybe is there a simpler way to turn off abs?

When you turn off the TC, do you wait for the “traction and stability control disabled” message?

On my G70, I press the TC button to disable traction control, and keep holding it down until the “traction and stability control disabled” message appears on the dash.

I have turned off traction control one time in a car I had (not Genesis) and it was because of snow in my driveway. Once I had determined the wheel without traction I extracted the car and when on the street I resumed TC.

I have first hand experience that it is, Was at the 1/4 mile track last night, rear end broke loose around the 330 foot mark, and my G70 spun in a complete 360 degree loop. Was extremely fortunate not to hit anything and drive off.
