  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I can’t figure out what this part is called on my 2010 4.6 A/T. I don’t know how long I’ve been driving like this but can someone point me in the right direction to getting this repaired? Thank you guys

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Did you purchase the car used? I don't think two bolts etc could just fall off. Part should be easy to get from dealer or salvage yard.

Yea I’ve had the car for a few years but recently had my struts and control arms replaced. I Know the shop didn’t leave it off cause the car drove amazing after but just a few days ago I heard something fall off after a bad pothole and it drove worse than before. Any idea what the part is called?

I'll have to look under my car but I'm fairly certain there's only one on each side from factory. It's for headlight leveling I believe. All 4 corners have the sensors only when it has factory air suspension so it can monitor ride height.

I just did the alternator replacement job on my 2009 V8/Tech. And I noticed one lower control link had empty holes while the other had a small thing attached with two bolt just as your pics show. So I don't think your car is missing anything.

I noticed quite a few empty fastener locations under the hood, on the front of the engine, etc. Not uncommon for cars with different variants for different parts of the world.

I don’t know for sure but based on the images provided this makes sense, the image without the bolts shows no sign of anything ever begin there, typically you would see some type of wear around the area showing where it was covered or bolted vs. being exposed.
