  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm looking at a 2010 Genesis Coupe that has 4200 miles on the clock, but the guy i talked to isn't sure which exact one it is. This may be a terrible question, but how can i tell if this is a Premium/R-spec/Track?

I have the VIN# but an auto check reports the model as being Genesis Base / Premium / R-Spec / Track

I currently have an 04 Elantra, but it was totaled last week, and while i wasn't in the market for a Genesis before, this one really sticks out to me. (it doesn't hurt that it has my favorite color combo in a car. Gray with Black/red interior)

Is there a way to figure all this out? I don't know if I just got the salesman who didn't know anything, but he looked in his system and couldn't find much (although I did see the wholesale auction pricing of 7 others, so that may help when it comes to negotiating ;) )

The only real details I have on it are:
Engine: Turbocharged Gas i4 2.0L/
Exterior: Gray
Interior: Red/Black

I sent the original dealership an email, but don't know if they will want to help as I'm not buying from their dealership

R spec will not have the push button start. Track edition does not have the backup sensors.

The Premium will have a sunroof, with leather and heated seats, but Base doesn't come with those options.

Hopefully based on this and the previous post it'll narrow it down.

Hope it works out.

The 2.0L T Premium does not have back-up sensors either.

The 2.0L T Premium does not have to have leather or heated seats.

Basically the 2 litre is as follows:
- R-Spec has the big brakes, big wheels, and no sunroof no leather, the shitty stereo, no leather, no cruise control, etc...
- premium gets you the sunroof, good stereo, cruise control, normal wheels, normal brakes, open differential, push button start, etc...
- track gets you all the options of the premium with the big wheels and big brakes, and a limited slip diff....I think leather too

track-black leather with red cloth inserts, brembo's all the way around, bigger sway bars, push button start, infinity 10 speaker sound system, spoiler, 19inch wheels, six speed, sunroof, hid headlights, fog lights, cruse control, auto headlights

rspec-it is like the base just with the track suspension and brakes and only in six speed, and no cruse control
