  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone know how to remove the fake exhaust tips from the bumper. They wiggle a little bit, so I don't theink they are permanently connected. I'd love to get some real tips in here

The exhaust tips are held by screws which is accessable under the rear bumper under each tip.

I saw oem tips for the 2015 3.8 on ebay.
Are there any other options given the unique shape?

My local mechanic has the exact same tips, except he could weld them to the exhaust, of course.

Slightly better looks and sound.

Sorry for the old thread reply, but are the oem tips "real"? My muff shop guy said they're not real and if welded to them, the diffuser area might get damaged from the extra heat the directly attached tips would produce.
