  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How do you operate the AFLS on the R-Spec

I must not be reading the manual correctly. Care to elaborate?

Veeeery interesting..... but stupid!!
As noted above, why would you not want AFLS activated if you have it fitted?

Yeah, I'm not sure with their logic on that one. I'm sure there is a reason though. Might be something to do if the AFLS malfunctions?

The AFLS can also stop working due to an error code reported to the system, before it will work again it will have to be cleared by the dealership and re-calibrated. I just had this done on my 2010 Genesis 3.8 which fixed the headlights not following the road, I started the car last week and noticed that the lights were not moving like normal. I took it in and they fixed it under warranty. There are sensors on the back suspension that tell the lights where to adjust to, if this fails to report for any reason the AFLS will disable and keep the lights pointing straight as a safety feature. I did not realize they took away the button in the 2012's, seems to defeat the purpose of having the AFLS and the AUTO setting is way to sensitive imo.

The AFLS on my '11 do not seem to be working properly. I think I remember that when lights turned on in garage, I would see them jump around for a second or so. Not the case now. Can it be confirmed that a malfunction in the AFLS will throw a code that is stored and later retrievable by the dealer?
