How do you shut off display?

When I stop for fuel and shut off engine display and radio stay on unless I open door. Is there a way to shut them off fora brief stop without opening door? Pressing the ignition switch without depressing the brake doesn't do it. No big deal but curious.

Are you getting full serve? If I were you, I wouldn't shut them off as it avoids from having them reboot. I actually find that I leave my car running frequently when I fuel up (self serve) so I can pause Howard Stern and not miss a beat....

It is dangerous and highly illegal to leave your engine running when refueling in the US.

Probably best to tell us your model year and trim level package (Base, Premium, Tech, Ultimate, etc. I may have missed a trim level if you have a 2015. The displays are different depending on the trim levels.

Don't you have to open the door to get out when you gas up?

Probably best to tell us your model year and trim level package (Base, Premium, Tech, Ultimate, etc. I may have missed a trim level if you have a 2015. The displays are different depending on the trim levels.

2015 3.8 Signature AWD and yes, station I fill up at most frequently is full service.

For the display, there is a little button called "disp" near the right side of the Cd slot (at least on the ultimate). Pressing it blanks the display. Another press brings the display back.

For the radio, pressing the volume button, or opening the door with the ignition off, or turning off the ignition and waiting several(5??) minutes turns off the radio. Note, if you want the infotainment system to skip the startup cycle when you stop and get out, leave the ignition in the "Acc" position. You can't lock the door from the outside,and the battery would run down if you left it for a long time; but I find it handy.

In the Signature model there is no Display button on the right side of the CD slot.. There is a Settings button and in the settings screen there is a display button that allows me to toggle on and off. Its easier to open and close the door,
