How find Sirius/XM serial #?

Lost my renewal notice with serial #. How do I find the number? Is it on the screen?

Tune to channel 0 (I think) and it will give you a six figure code. That's the code you need to submit when you go to the XM website.

either #0 or #1 will give you the numbers

Go to Channel "0" and it will give you the "Radio ID". Alphanumeric Eight figures.

With that being said, I received notice that my XM satellite radio trial is about to expire, and it gives me the Radio ID (plus other things like my vehicle VIN). The only problem is that the Radio ID the notice says is not the Radio ID in the XM DIS Screen.

Like a jerk, (but an honest jerk) I informed XM about the wrong Radio ID. Had I kept my mouth shut, I "may" have been able to get more time free. Thats what being honest does. <grin>

Negotiate with XM for a lower rate. I have done this over the last year. I called XM saying I was cutting expenses. They offerd me about a 50% discount on the subscription price. Don't be afraid to call them and ask for any special pricing when having to renew your subscription.
