  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey gang, don't know if this 'problem' was there before the latest update I did right after buying the car or not, but need help. For the life of me, couldn't find how to avoid freaking toll roads. On all my previous Hyundai vehicles, there was a clear way to do it: Just check the square that said 'avoid toll roads'. Done. Well, no such thing anymore. Just 3 options now: use freeways, cost effective way (kind of stupid IMO), and shortest time (or distance). So not there. Went into the menu, and found 'avoid' options, but when you click on it, no options. Geez. It's just a map with a target. Okay, so I put that thing over the toll road, which was clearly labeled 'toll xxx road', and the thing just put something stupid, like avoid ferries, or something like that. I said, okay, maybe it didn't say directly to avoid toll roads, but it will. So I got into the toll road, and it did nothing, and it WAS a freaking toll road. Oh well. So there's apparently no way, or at least no easy way, to avoid toll roads now. Hopefully I'm missing something stupid, but I doubt it. Looks like I'll have to call those MapnSoft guys yet again (first time was because no TPMS, digital speedo, etc on driver 2 profile), so they can also correct that on the fall software version. Thanks gang.

As a final comment, will try doing that on the 2022 Santa Fe Calligraphy, which has basically the same system, and see if it's there or not. But I'm in the middle of a trip, and won't get there until later in the week.
