Hey Fellow Genesis Owners,

I was wondering how much ya'll are spending for your regular Genesis services. I just completed my 30k at RT4 Hyundai in Paramus, NJ and it cost me $1004 ($175/hr for Labor). They literally did nothing but the regular service plus their recommended Throttle Body Service.

Hey Fellow Genesis Owners,

I was wondering how much ya'll are spending for your regular Genesis services. I just completed my 30k at RT4 Hyundai in Paramus, NJ and it cost me $1004 ($175/hr for Labor). They literally did nothing but the regular service plus their recommended Throttle Body Service.

I no longer have the bills from my last Genesis but never paid more that about $300. Nor did I have throttle body service done if it is not called for in the manual.

A friend has a high mileage Audi A7 and his last service estimate is $4400. That includes tires.

That sounds very high. My 30k service on my 5.0, done at my local Hyundai dealer in South Jersey, was oil change, cabin filter, air filters, no tire rotation due to staggered wheels. With the throttle body service included, it was about $387. I was going to say no to the throttle body service but when he told me the total price it sounded cheap!

I'll probably just do my own air filter replacements from now on since it's really simple to do. I also recently replaced the cabin filter with a cleanable permanent K&N filter. Very easy to do as well.

Also recently I changed a drl bulb myself and it still didn't work. Dealer checked, system showed short in the bulb, so they replaced the bulb I just put in with theirs. My cost was $27. I thought that was reasonable as well!

It's crazy how varied pricing for service can be.

Service was free. They even came 60 miles picked up and returned the car.
