If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Hi,

I have read many posts mentioning the jukebox and USB stick but I have not found the mentioned "copy" feature anywhere in my car (3.8 Tech). The only thing I have seen is "Save to My Music" in the menu when playing a track.

Where's the place to copy a folder/album or entire USB drive to the Jukebox?

Thanks for any help!

While you are playing a song from the USB, press Menu and you will have two copy options.

warning - it is not fast (my experience is about 700 songs per hour) and if you turn off the car while it is copying, you have to start over - it has no smarts to just skip files already on the jukebox during a copy.

I also found that once you move off the copying status screen (or a pop up notification comes up) you can't go back to that screen so you have zero idea of how far it is in the process (it does tell you when it is done however).

I think this area could use a bit of work in the interface. ALso note, that it matters where you are when you press the copy option - if you are in the list of all songs and say copy all, it will copy all songs but not the folder structure, but if you are in the list of folders, you can choose certain folders and it will copy the folder structure

Is there a way to copy data through the Bluelink system?

I only see two menu items: add to playlist and save to my music. No copy! My car has touch screen version of media system. I also checked the manual and it only mentions Save to My Music menu.

There must be a copy all or folder function somewhere as it's not reasonable to add song one by one, Hyundai?!

This is how I do it
1) go to the usb media player
2) go to list view
3) press songs on left side - that will give you list of all songs
4) press menu
5) press copy to jukebox (the only menu item at this point)
6) press copy all songs

If that still doesn't work for you, I'll take pics of each step.

your screen looks different than mine. see my screen print. Besides the menu choices, look at things like where it says list in the upper left corner, plus look at the list of items on the left - mine are completely different than yours.............I see yours is a tech - mine is an ultimate - wonder if there is a difference?

Mine is an Ultimate and I just now loaded 6 albums from a USB. I had exactly the screen shown to start the copy.

I am thinking if tx1234 is indeed using usb drive, then it may be that the tech version doesn't have a jukebox and only the ultimate version does.

I believe that is true. Only Ultimate has the Jukebox. It isincluded with the 9.2" display only.

I have a base 3.8 and my screen looks the same as tx1234. The interface references MyMedia, not jukebox, and there is a ton of storage. However, I have the same problem in that I haven't been able to figure out how to load songs in a batch process.

Intentionally disable a software feature just proves Hyundai's stupidity

On my USB stick I created 27 directories #,a-z. Added music who's band names began with the corresponding folder letter. This allowed me to copy the files over in chunks (by marking the folders I want to copy) so I could do a little bit at a time during my morning / afternoon commutes. Once the files are copied over they will still get categorized by the system and you can search/display them by song/artist/genre etc. And yes its really slow to copy. Album art get populated though so that's cool. There's also a "cover flow" view of the albums.
