how to manually open trunk with no power to car

I have a 2014 Genesis Coupe 2.0 RT. battery died on it the other day and couldn't get into the trunk to get my tools. Fortunately the jumper cables were not in the trunk. So my question is, for the 2014 Coupe, is there a way to open the trunk with no power to the car? I have looked all over the back of the car to find a key hole, no luck.

Pull down the back seats, crawl into the trunk to the latch area of the hatch and there you will find a yellow release slider switch (like the hood release). Viola! Trunk pops open.

Thanks for the info. I looked into this but the back seats are locked in place via a latch in the trunk I even tried to leave them ajar but the movement of the car locked them back in place

It's in the middle of the rear seat, near where the buckles are!
