  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

That only applies to 2017 and newer vehicles (that are now the separate Genesis brand).
For 2009-2016 you have to go to the Hyundai website.
I asked a dealer about updates on my 2010, the only option was to go to the dealer to get them. They aren't even available from the site (if I recall correctly, 2013-2016 maps are available from the website, not sure about the DIS firmware though).

Unfortunately, just like me, you'll have to go to the dealer.
The Hyundai Website allows downloads, but only for 2015-2016 Genesis'sssss.

For the last time... Go... To... The... Dealership. There is no Magic to this. I didn't realize you have no Nav. But that doesn't matter. There may not even be an update for your system since there is no Nav. A DEALERSHIP would be able to tell you what your options are based on your VIN and headunit code. Realistically, you would have already had your answer if you had just gone to the dealer. Not trying to come off as an A-hole but you asked how can you get an update. I mention going to the dealer, you say that doesn't help you when in fact they are the only ones who can give you the answer for your situation. So, I guess good luck? No idea what else can be said that will help you since what's already been suggested, you've rejected for some reason. I guess you could learn programming and create your own firmware? That would take a long time though. I've seen it done (not on these cars though), or use a Raspberry Pi and integrate that into the headunit instead.
Are you even having an actual issue with your system? Just because the date is from back then doesn't really mean anything. It's like a computer. You can have the computer for 10 years and it works fine but the mother board bios date is from 10 years ago. Doesn't mean anything if there just is no update to get.

My dear friend, I live in Iran and unfortunately the agency in Iran can not help me, they do not even know if this system can be updated or not.
Due to the fact that the update will definitely fix the system bugs, features may be added to the system, such as playing music via Bluetooth, or for my car, which has Face 2013, it has a 2009 Face image.
Thank you very much for your guidance

Ah, okay. Now I see what you're trying to accomplish. Unfortunately, playing music through Bluetooth won't happen with the system you have. The only one that allows Bluetooth audio is the touchscreen Nav system, which, oddly is the system below the DIS which is what you have. As for the car image, I hear you. But don't expect an update for showing a different car. This is very common across all manufacturers. However, just be happy that it's actually a Genesis in the image. Most manufacturers just use a plain random vehicle that doesn't even look like what you're actually driving. I wish I had other answers for you. Try reaching out to Hyundai service on their website maybe?

The base ‘12 model has Bluetooth streaming. I doubt they removed it in ‘13.

Bluetooth is only used for calls, the ability to play music with Bluetooth is not possible, but since the Bluetooth version can be expanded in the hidden menu, this feature may be added with the update

Unfortunately, Hyundai after-sales service in Iran only provides service and replacement of parts, they do not have any information about features and software updates.

You say you want an update.

Why? What is wrong with your current system. What does it lack?

Any system with the update, both system bugs are fixed and can be added to the system features, currently my system does not have the ability to play music with Bluetooth, and may be added to the system if more updates, certainly the manufacturer Must provide software support
For American order cars, after the update, this difference has been seen. My car is ordered by United Arab Emirates. How and where can the update for this model be received and installed?

Contact a UAE dealer.

You CANNOT add the ability to play bluetooth music through software. That's a hardware issue. No one adds the hardware without the software as you need to put the firmware on to "install" it.
