HP mods

I know we have a section for wheels and cosmetic mods. But how big is mod scene for engine upgrades?

Becides the exhaust, intake. With this being NA that limits things, but what about a chip? Does anyone have a modded engine with dyno results

I constantly search for a "chip" or ECU tune for the Genesis; and have found nothing available from any source.
My guess is that any tune will be first offered for the Genesis coupe V6, which has a tuner audience. Presently, Stillen is doing Hyundai tuning, but does not offer a ECU tune at this time.

good luck ever finding anything. The main problem with the Genesis sedan and aftermarket is that a large majority of Gen owners don't care about aftermarket. Most owners are older men who could care less (no offense to anyone here). Without the demand, no company will create mods. People don't look at the Gen like they would a BMW 3/5/M series. If you want a "chip", which I'm assuming you mean a tuning device, your best bet would be to find a good performance shop that has some good custom skills.

What do you want out of your car though? A little extra pick up? Or do you want something more serious?

I would want just a little extrs HP bump. Maybe 50HP more.. But needs paddle shifters, or manual for the R spec. We will see if an mods come out
