Not sure if this was posted yet or not....In this video from March 7th the product training manager states that all Canadian models of this car come with AWD regardless of engine choice.

Thanks. That has been known since the initial announcement months ago and had lead to many discussions and debates here as to why we do not get the V8 AWD.

I was in NH USA a couple of days ago so I dropped by a dealership hoping to see a 2015. Unfortunately they did not have any yet but did some chatting with an extremely knowledgable sales person. I mentioned we get the V8 in Canada with AWD and he was very surprised as they were informed at a meeting by Hyundai the reason for not having AWD in the V8 was due to the AWD not being able to handle the HP. Obviously the were mislead.

Wow do they have some really nice deals on the 2014's. They had a brand new black on black Equus on the showroom floor for $46,???.

LOL, neither was I but he surprised me by talking about a vast amount of tech features which they normally have no clue about. Maybe he just baffled me with BS.

There are some sales people who are actually "into" cars and find out about that stuff. But a lot of them will be selling refrigerators or washing machines next month, so why bother learning about it? Also, vast majority of customers who come to a Hyundai dealer are looking for Sonata, Elantra, Sante Fe, etc.
