  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis G70
Just ordered a 2022 g70 2.0t with prestige package and not seeing the heads up display as an included option. This has been standard in the prestige package for the previous Genesis's I had purchased back to 2015. Does anyone know if it is included ? Dealer could not answer the question???

Hopefully not true but Audi & BMW have deleted many luxury features due to chip shortage. Audi limits you to only 1 key!

According to the Genesis web page it is only offered on the 3.5 Sport Prestige.

They have done the same thing with the G80 too.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
For the 2022 models, the HUD only seems to be available on the 3.3T Sport Prestige model.

Love my Genesis's, this will be my 6th one in 10 years, hate to see this downgrade.

Damn. If going forward I have to get the big engine to get the features I have today on my 2.0T 2019 I'll be done.

I don't want to pay the penalty in mpg for gadgets.

Semi-agree. I think it is a very useful tool that I like to have. It is not just the MPG but the initial cost for the engine and package the HUD goes with.

At this level of luxury we all have certain expectations. Sure, they cost but the step to the top is rather steep. My Ultimate 3.8 has it, so should the 2.5, IMO, even though it will add to the base price.

I just called Genesis customer care to levy my concern, I agree a luxury sports sedan should have HUD as standard. My friend just bought a Hyundai Santa Fe and it came with HUD!!! Maybe not such a good thing Genesis became their own brand. Flood them with calls!

I still think that most people bought the 3.3t because the 2.0 was so under powered so people only bought it as the "cheap" option. So, now, I'm sure their internal data says people want the 3.3t and no one wants the 2.0 with options.

In my opinion, people bought what they were sold and not what they would have wanted. Give me the 2.5t fully loaded and I'll be a customer for life.

^ according to the Genesis website, everything above the 2.0T Advanced gets HUD. so your 2.0T Prestige does indeed have HUD. not sure why the dealer could not answer this, unless the website is not accurate for some reason. what did you find when you checked the spec sheet?

here's what a 3 minute search revealed:

I used to own the 5.0 R spec, PURE power and loved the car. I now live in a small gulf front town with the closest hwy an hour from me so I have been totally content with my 2019 g70 sport. Will prob get the 2022 3.3 because I want all of the options... that is the part that hurts!

The website must be wrong. Here is a 2022 2.0T with the Prestige pkg and it does not have HUD. I believe HUD is now only reserved for the 3.3T Prestige model.

I can verify the 2.0t does not have HUD or approaching mirrors with puddle lamps. I went ahead and just ordered a 3.3t sport prestige as I cannot live with a downgrade on features I am used to. I ordered Siberian Ice after seeing one, really like the elusive hues of grey and light blue. Anyone on here have that color... thought? Lastly, with the dark chrome on the sport package does anyone know if they have corrected the tarnishing on the window trim? Any coating that can be used to prevent it? Thanks!
