  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi,

Curious to know if anyone else has this problem and if they were able to sort it.

My GV60 HUD has limited adjustment. I'm fairly tall, but not exceptionally so (6ft). When the driver's seat is adjusted properly for me, even with the HUD height set to its lowest setting I can only see the lower half of the HUD display in the windscreen. Conversely, at it's highest setting the HUD would be too high for even the shortest drivers.

I'd like to think there's some kind of manual adjustment or calibration possible to bring the HUD down a bit (and ideally also to centralise the tilt which similarly doesn't have enough clockwise adjustment in settings to straighten it out).

Yup, mine changes throughout the day. It’s slightly different in the morning than in the evening as my posture changes. I’ve gotten used to the slight off angle at times & mostly ignore it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I am confused by your post. The settings allow for some up or down adjustment and some left or right adjustment which would do tilt. Unfortunately, they don't have great range. I used to be 5'8" but now my doc tells me I am 5'7" and I have the opposite problem. I can barely get it high enough so I can see all of it. These are manual settings. Are you looking for some in addition?

You say "when the driver's seat is adjusted properly" for you. Are you sure? I thought I had mine adjusted properly until I tried using the automatic seat setting. I didn't like it but I stayed with it for at least a week and I have come to love it and appreciate it. It puts me lower in the seat and more in the car rather than on the car.
