Hybrid Magnaflow/Dynomax exhaust in process

Decided the drone was just not for me.
Ordered a pair of Dynomax VT 17949 mufflers and will have muffler shop mount them onto the Magnaflow catback. Plan is to make the mufflers with the same slip for connections as the Magnaflows.

Been there done that, only with the 4.6 which uses a different Magnaflow. I think you will have an easier job of installing the Dynomax mufflers on the 5.0 because the Magnaflow exhaust tubing seems to have the "just right" bends for connection. On the 4.6 we had to cant the Dynomax mufflers a bit, and they were visible from the side of the car - painted them flat black and they disappeared"
Respecting drone, this combination does eliminate just about all the drone. It passes the "wife test" nicely (she didn't notice the change from OEM).
