  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I received a certificate when I picked up my car detailing future trade in value if I bought another Hyundai. I put away the certificate and haven't looked at it since.

I read people here complaining about trade-in value. Does the Hyundai guarantee a decent trade in rate if you meet the qualifications noted on the certficate?

Not sure if Hyundai offers that program anymore for a new Genesis (but may be valid if it was in effect when you purchased the car). It also had a ridiculous number of requirements, including:
  • All scheduled maintenance must be done at a Hyundai dealer. I am assuming that even means you can't replace the air filter yourself.
  • Original car being traded-in, and the new Hyundai being purchased using the trade-in, both had to be financed by Hyundai Finance. So if you paid cash, or financed at your Credit Union, you are SOL.
  • Had to trade-in between 24 and 48 months after purchase.
