I got a call yesterday on my cell phone from a "restricted number" on caller ID...for grins, I answered expecting to get the opportunity to harass a telemarketer....but...
The young lady on the other end identified herself as a Hyundai rep and indicated that she would like to discuss my Bluetooth issue on my Genesis with me. I immediately assumed that this was a direct response to the ongoing issue seen here:

that I am still fighting with them about.
She began asking me questions, and it was soon apparent that she was reading from a survey script.
She asked me some background info, like which AV/Nav system my car had, who my cell carrier is, the make/model of my phone, was my phone on their compatibility list, etc...
After the basic questions, she asked about specific issues with the Bluetooth/phone usage in the car. Interestingly, all of the issues that she inquired about are exactly the ones you see most commonly on internet forums....She brought up the sound quality, pairing/connection issues, phonebook download issues, dropped call issues, etc...
I somehow doubt that any of my answers will help me with the current issue that I am trying to get them to work on, but I suppose future buyers in 2012 and beyond my benefit from them....
