If anyone managed to take a test drive during the road show and got a $500 reward discount coupon that they are not going to use I would love to have it! You can't see me but I'm on my knees begging. I would be more than willing to pay. I would hate to see it expire when I could use it. So PLEEEEEEASE think about it since it may be the only way I can swing a deal! Thanks everyone!!!!!!

i am 99.9% sure i can get you the car and all you have to do is provide me with a few ben franklins- and this will take in consideration not having a reward discount coupon which you lack and taking into consideration compensation to me... basically win... win

Yeah, putting on my CPA hat...$500 shouldn't make or break the deal on the $40k car. Yes, it is great, but it isn't worth strapping yourself financially.

I have been budgeting for a new 4.6 with the tech package but I did not calculate for the extreme demand. That said I finally found a dealer willing to sell me the car and a price that beats all the others in 200 mi radius (central west FL). The price is more than I allowed for in my budget so I either let this one go and wait till later for a better price or try to make the deal with the use of a coupon. Yes the deal is that close!! So putting my CFP hat on I should stick to the budget! Putting on my GENESIS hat on I should do the deal and PLEAD for a coupon!!

I was registered to attend the Chicago Driving Event but had to cancel last minute cause my business trip got canceled. When I called Hyundai to cancel I told them I was really interested in the car and it would mean a lot to me (i.e. I would buy one) if they would send me the $500 coupon. They said that would not be an issue and they put in a request for one to be sent to me.

Now I have not gotten it yet (going on 3 weeks), but I'm hopefull it will come soon. So my advise would be to call Hyundai and ask for one.

Nothing yet... but at this point it doesn't matter all that much. My wife got caught up in Ebay's 10% staff reduction so until she finds a job the closest thing to a new Genesis for me will be browsing the lots on Sunday
