Got my Equus at the beginning of this year. I love this car to death. Which is exactly what happened when the ECM fried on it. Its currently in the shop, but figured I'd join this forum and post my pics while Im waiting. Also, had a question about Bluelink. Has anyone else had issues with theirs not activating recently? I paid for it, but wasnt able to use it during the entire month. Was sort of weird.

Anyway, here she is. Affectionately named Obsidian.

Also, as for Bluelink, that's exactly why. There are no more 2G antennas in my area, so that's why I was having issues connecting and getting it activated. Bummer.

I’ve never missed Bluelink in my ‘12 Genesis. The base and the premium (mine) models never had it to begin with. Only the technology package had it.

Now my Genesis is owned by my Son who loves it for what it is; absolutely the finest vehicle he has ever owned.

If you own a Hyundai Equus, post here and add a few pictures if you can...

I have been here a while, having purchased a 2016 Ultimate in Sept 2019 with 50K miles, it is Black with Ivory interior, due to working virtually I have not driven it much so it now has only 53,800 miles. Really enjoy it when I do drive it, take out regularly to keep the battery charged, and stop all the seals from going hard and pervert the tires from getting flat spots.

I am woefully late to this party but have - in the last 3 months - completely fallen in love with these cars to the tune of buying 3!

I also love the Lexus LS and have nice versions of the 400 (98), 430 (06) and 460 (10) that I like to compare the Equus to.

I will get some pics up soon but the 3 I bought are:

2011 Signature in Silver/Black - 2 owner car with a ton of miles (220k) and full service records (including new suspension at 160k) that still runs beautifully and is in very nice condition for the age. I paid 4500 for the car.

The only issues i have are:

Center console latch broke (magnets to fix)
Dime size clear coat peel on the hood
Some of the nav/menu buttons are sticky/soft
Some of the odometer LEDs are yellow which i believe means they are just old and worn out
The front air bag seems a tad higher than it should be
The AFLS headlight tracking does not work

Everything else works great and its is a joy to drive. Had it a tad over 3 months and put about 3k miles on it. I baby it knowing she wont last forever but was inspired to go out and find another.


2016 Ultimate 78k miles While/Tan, one owner traded in at the same dealer that sold it. Full service records. Still on original bags but super clean. I paid 15k OTD for the car.

I do not like the 14-16 wheels near as much and I miss the driver massage but otherwise its a big step up in terms of interior quality over the 11-13. Also streaming blue tooth is nice. I bought it 2 months ago and the only issue i have had is on the drive home while streaming music the nav seemed to lock up and forced me to pull over and restart the car. I almost turned around but i have not had any issues since and I adore the car. I have already started a personal fund to replace the air bags with strut-masters when the time comes.


2013 Ultimate 168k miles While/Tan. This one kind of fell into my lap and it is going to be a project. 3 owner local but she has a ton of issues but strong motor/trans and runs good.

The gas door latch is broke
The center console latch is broke
The rear icebox door is broke
The front air suspension holds for about 6 days then starts to sag... so its not long for this world.
Will be a fun project and gives me the 3 models i wanted most.
