  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hyundai Equus Schedule Posted

The car has returned to Jenkins Leesburg.

The Equus is currently at Ed Voyles Hyundai in Smyrna, GA (or it was there this afternoon when I went by to see it). More impressive than I had thought from the photos, but I'm still not sure I'll buy it. First off the iPod interface is as barbaric as in the Lexicon-system Genesis; secondly, most of the most luxurious features are reserved for the rear seat passengers (fold down laptop trays, adjustable LCD screens, reclining seats, etc.). Since I never travel in the rear seat, I wouldn't benefit much from those features. And the absence of additional state-of-the-art technology like SACD and Blu-Ray playback (to increase the number of surround discs available), heads-up displays, thermal imaging for distant object alerts, all-around camera view (as in EX35 and others), makes the vehicle seem not too cutting-edge at all.

Still, I did like what I saw... but just not sure I'd buy it since it seems targeted for a different audience than my wife and me.
