It was a 1/4 mile run between the BMW 750 vs. Genesis 4.8. The Genesis beat it by about 2 car lengths. The guy goes on to say that in the Hyundai presentation, they are comparing it to makes like Lexus, BMW, MB and power comparable to the Pontiac G8 but they are not advertising the vehicle as a luxury car, though they compare it to such 'prestige' vehicles. They are driving to a test track in the Genesis 3.6 where they will be going up against other vehicles; and just talks about the specs of the vehicle and how impressed he's been with it so far.
At the track, the guy is getting a lesson on how to drive the vehicle around the apex, since he's already skidded out of the track. He talks about what not to do, like go 110MPH around a turn which led to him running into the dirt but mentions that the car held itself overall, even when he didn't have much control of the vehicle.

He needs some serious classes

Silly me. I wasn't paying close enough attention. So yes - that was a 750i vs a v8 Genesis.. They looked close except at the end. I guess the Genesis has good power up top..

The V8 Genesis is looking very impressive. None have hit any of the dealers around me but when they do, I will surely go take a look at one.
