  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hyundai Performance Figures vs. the Competition

Does Hyundai have any factory racing teams in useful racing programs? Endurance racing is a must for any car company looking to produce cars with good driving dynamics.

Only time I've seen Hyundai's on the track was the Genesis Coupes in the Pirelli World Challenge at Road America.

Just for you and for old times sake:

Looking back, indeed he was a nutter... :)

Haha, that's awesome. I had actually seen the Mustang video just browsing Youtube at one point but failed to make the connection that it was this guy.

I know he's a smart guy and well educated, but at the risk of sounding hypocritical (I am from KY but fortunately don't have much twang per my northerly friends) I can't help but not take him seriously when he talks.

That burnout at the 4-way stop almost made me choke on my breakfast.

I remember in the early 2000's they were competing regularly in the World Rally Championships with the Tiburon. Don't know what became of that after the Tib was phased out in favor of the G Coupe. The Coupe doesn't really fit the mold as a rally car. I'm sure some GT racing circuits use it as a platform, but I don't know if they are backed by a TRD or Nismo equivalent from Hyundai.

They need to get a factory racing team going, or just hire Lotus haha...
