Hyundai usb car theft

According to the news and web sites I checked, the 2015/2016 hyundai and tik tok usb car thefts work only on cars which use physical keys on the column to start and not push button start as in found in the 2015/2016 genesis push button start. Anybody heard otherwise?

This is a non-issue for any Genesis since all of them are push-button start. The people most affected will be those who bought base model Hyundais and Kias without that feature.
