I bought a genesis badge but...?

I have a 2012 Genesis 4.6 and need to know how far away from the grill do i place it? Most countries use metric. It looks like the front badge is about 2cm north of the front grill. what say you guys???

This has been discussed on this forum previously going back to 2009. My recollection of those previous posts made by others for the front badge on a 2009 - 2014 is that it should be about 1" above the grill. That would be about 2.5 cm. Maybe you can find those posts to verify my recollection.

As you know, you will have to remove the posts on the badge, which most people did with a Dremel tool, although some badge vendors may remove them for you.

On the 2009 - 2014 Hyundai Genesis, I would guess that less than 50% of the USA owners installed the wings on the front, since there is no flying H on the front. The front wings did appear on Korean versions of the Genesis during that time period.

I bought mine with logos done so I don't know the spec but I'd go with Mark, this one is mine and it is 1 3/4" (4.45cm).
