I bought a new Hyundai Genesis

I picked up my Genesis yesterday, black/black V6 with the tech package. So far no complaints. The car sticks to road, ride is very BMW, the wife will need to adapt, she's used to a Crown Vic with air suspension. Nav system very user friendly, have not had to look up anything in the manual. On other posts I have read that it does not connect to all Ipods, I have my classic 80G working with no problems.

I have talked with a couple of dealers in Southeastern PA that have received 2-3 vehicles in the last week or two.

GREAT! I have been trying to make a decison as to whether to get the V6 or wait for the V8.....Any comments on the interior color you chose? I have been thinking cashmere but black is a possibility

Welcome to the boards. Yay, after a short pause, we now have a fifth owner of the Genesis in this board. You got the tech package huh? Good Choice. How much did you pay for it? Did the dealer charge you that infamous 'Market Adjustment' thing on you too or was it just the MSRP which it should be? Would love to see some pics if you post any.

Btw, how is the i-drive clone in the Genesis? I heard all kinds of bad things about the ones in the bimmers that most magazines are chewing on. Is it better? or about the same?

I bet you weren't expected to get peppered with questions but I am going to add one.

I am going to lease the V-6 w/tech in the next 30 days and the only thing I am unsure of is can you operate the Nav while driving - as far as changing destinations, etc? I have never had a car with Nav before and I thought I read that in most cars (except Acura maybe?) you have to be in park to change destinations - so they can reduce liability / improve safety. I hope you can fully operate it while driving..

Anyway, my IT manager has ordered one of these in black on black. He says he was pretty impressed with it when he test drove it. Should get it this week. Got him out of his Crown Vic.
