  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have settled my thinking on a 3.8 2010 preowned. No the hunt begins. Any advice is welcomed.

All I can say is good luck and welcome to the family. There are plenty of different places to look so have fun.

Autotrader.com would be a good site to look at, get a CPO (Certified Pre Owned) so you get the remainder of the factory warranty on the car. I have a 2010 3.8L and so far the car has been an overall pleasure to own. Make sure the seals on the doors, trunk, and especially the sunroof are fully intact (no tears of any sort). Have them run a diagnostic test on the car while your present and make sure it doesn't report back any error codes, they should be doing this as part of the CPO inspection but it's best to double check them before you purchase the car.

Best wishes on your new car and :welcome: to the Hyundai family, the community here is really great about providing help should you have any questions.

Welcome! Not sure what kind of advice you want or need...but my first thought was to check CarMax...

http://www.carmax.com

I put in search for 2010 Genesis 3.8 4D (if you want a 4D) and BANG...several hits on a page....prices range from a low of 22,400 up to 29,800.

Lots of choices, just from there.

Check your local Hyundai dealers to see if they have any Genesis trades on their lot....

Searching for your new Genesis is half the fun. The other half is owning and driving it. Enjoy the hunt!
