  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
No Genesis Yet!
I purchased it from another city and they dropped it off at my house.

Every time I set up service using the app with the local dealer they cancel it, and then I email them to no response.

I emailed Genesis and they didn’t email back.

I knew service would be an issue and looks like it will be. Lol.

Hahaha! You could go back to the dark ages of communication and phone them, or even drop in to see them in person.

Possible the app has to be synced with the dealer. I don't know, I never use it for that.

I know this sounds silly to some, but the first time around I'd probably stop in and talk face to face with someone. Find out what the shop is like, any specials, etc. Then in the future I'd call for appointments. Yeah, you have to put a dime in the slot to use the phone, but the personal touch is always nice.

Drive to the dealer.

At minimum use the phone. Better go to the dealer and talk to a service rep face to face.

Talk .... to a person?

How do you do that !?

Also... unfortunately dealer is not nearby, so driving there is a project.

Honestly not looking forward to seeing the Genesis sales guy who tried to sell me the car for much, much, much more than I paid for it. :)

It’s funny when you use the schedule app it gives you a welcome message and confirmation email from an actual person at the local dealer , but then a little bit later they cancel. When you email that person back *crickets..*
