  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I had hoped for the possibility of a redesigned G80 for 2020, but it seems like that is going to be at least 2021, so I decided to look at the used market, and my wallet is thanking me. I purchased a 2016 lease return with 18,650 miles with AWD and the Ultimate package in Moniticito blue for $27,100 yesterday from Jim Ellis in Atlanta. Based on my reading in the forum I knew I was going to add the wrap around warranty which I obtained for another $2399 which includes the 10-100,00 extension plus 3 years basic service. I couldn't be happier with the experience I had; I was in and out of the dealership in about 2 and a half hours.

I previously owned a 2015 Genesis, and I was very happy with it, but ended up in a 2017 Mazda Miata. It was a fun vehicle, but after 2 years, I decided the practicality and comfort of a full size sedan was a better fit for me, so I have returned to the Genesis fold. In five years, I'm sure I'll be looking at the G80 again, and based on my experience so far, it will may be another used lease return.

As a bonus, the previous owner apparently installed the Genesis wing emblem on the rear trunk. :D

Sounds like a decent price and not many miles. Agree it is fun once in a while to drive a fun car like the Miata, but for every day commute or long trips, the Genesis sure is nice. Enjoy it, nice color too.

Congrats. Sounds like you got a great deal. Always wanted the Montecito blue, just couldn't find it with a black interior.

Excellent color choice . Congrats.
Happy driving.

Yep,the 16’ is the cats meow!!☺️ Enjoy your new ride!

Congrats on a nice car and a great deal. These cars are a steal if you think about it.

Thanks guys. Sounds like the Montecito Blue is a popular choice. Honestly, I've always disliked "Blue" for cars, but this one is the exception. And while I didn't get the black interior (ETERNAL1906), I was astonished to find the tan in nearly immaculate condition.

I know you want to show us some pics.

I'm thinking about your statement

Did not realize until read this message . Genesis did not bring a new g80 for 2020 . Also genesis is still not talking about the new g90 2020 - that new g90 up's the game .
