I just joined the club

After lurking on this board for several months, I just completed a deal on a Genesis 3.8 with tech package and I am very excited. Here are some details: Cabernet red / Saddle colors (very hard combination to find). Purchased a demo with 1,300 miles for $36,875. Dealer will install the trunk liner for an additional cost of $143. I will install the wheel caps and wing logo on the trunk.

Replacing a 2001 BMW 530i with about 78k on the clock. I love the BMW, but the Genesis gives me a huge leap forward in technology, more back seat leg room and a slightly softer ride (which I welcome).

I will pick up the car tomorrow - can't wait to play with all the technology. I will post some pics when I have a chance.

Aah, another former 530i owner walks away from the fabled roundel. I got a call from my BMW salesman a few weeks ago, asking why they haven't seen me around. When I told him I'm a Genesis owner, he hesitated and then told me "you're not the first customer we've lost to that model".

Three months and 5500 miles after making the same decision, I'm pretty confident that you'll be happy with your purchase. I still can't believe how much car I got for the money. Welcome to the club...
