  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

messages (reset rear seat and try again) appears when trying to operate rear right seat with door or panel. the individual buttons on side of arm rest function okay.
No information was in the owner's manual, that I was able to find.

Found this on Google:

To reset the rear seat position in a 2023 Genesis G90, ensure the car is off, then hold down the forward seat knob and the "Set" button for a few seconds. The seat will move back and forth, then reset to its original location.

Here's a more detailed explanation:
  • Turn off the car: Make sure the engine is completely off before attempting the reset.
  • Locate the controls: Find the seat control switches located on the outside of the seat, specifically the one for adjusting the seat position.

  • Hold the buttons: Press and hold the forward seat knob and the "Set" button simultaneously for several seconds.

  • Seat movement: The seat will move forward and then backward, indicating that the reset process is underway.

  • Reset complete: Once the seat stops moving, it should be reset to its original position.

  • Re-set your presets: You will need to re-set your memory seat positions after the reset.
