  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2a0vjHyUCE"]2012 Genesis R-Spec - Exhaust Cutout Open/Closed/Partial - YouTube[/ame]

i definitely want for my r-spec. anyone have this or heard of where i can get it?
i believe where this guy got it from, they are no longer on the web. cant find them.

lmk what you guys think

Holly ****** !!!!! sounds awesome !!!!

yes, will i used the search, found old thread from last year, same guy of the video i believe. but thread died out. cant find anyone who has it or still in contact with this guy. read that in the tread the cost was about 2k. a lot were mentioning to lower to about 1000. i wonder if other companies have made one.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
What do you need to know? I just ordered the cutouts & cat delete pipes. :)

Driv200 or whatever his name was made them. He was selling them for $2,000. I asked him about pricing and it never really came down from that. A wee bit pricy for cut offs to me. I'd buy a set if they were closer to 1/3 that.

You can buy a weld in y and electric cutout from vendors like QTP, badlanzHpe, DHM, the list goes on. Only a couple hundred bucks plus install. Probably the most popular are the 3 i listed. Qtp from what ive seen tend to leak or have weaker motors in the past. Dont know if that changed. I had a DHM on my last ride and now its sitting in my garage. DHM units are really beefy and have a 4yr warranty. That 2K setup was a full on exhaust setup with the cutouts installed.

I spoke with the guy in the video he no longer has the car. This is what you do you get a set of cat delete test pipes remove your cats install the test pipes then get a low-profile oval exhaust cutouts mount them to the test pipes now you have your regular exhaust system and your exhaust dump that's the way to go total cost will be about 800.00 you'll have quiet when you want and loud when you want and when you go to sell the car all you have to do is remove the test pipe with the cutouts attached reinstall the cats then sell the test pipe and the oval cutouts on eBay and recoup some of your money no harm no foul

Yes I got mine from them about a week ago for my rspec 5.0L ( sales@msauthority.com) ask for Martin cost 110.00 shipped . what I'm doing is replacing my cats with the test pipes cutting them and then installing my low-profile oval exhaust cutouts right there and when I'm finished if I want to remove and replace the cats back they'll be no problem. DMH cut outs are by far the best I had bolth ( DMH & QTP) in my hands qtp are really not ovel , plus DMH 4 year warentee. I did 2 weeks of research save your time . Just go with the test pipe & cut outs.

And what are you going to do about the CEL?

Tommy
anyone got pictures and links to the kit you bought?

i can do installation myself. i will definitely be interested if it cost 110.

The two test pipes are $ 110.00 the installation should be simple unbolt the cats bolt in the test pipes . I'll post some pictures tomorrow

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1398209416.873834.webp this is the cut out. The quality is superior to the other low profile oval cutouts these are by far much better have had both of my hand so I know.

So it's a bolt on? I don't need to cut and weld?

Nice, thanks for pictures wait for more

Nice setup, looks good.

Thanks for the photos
