  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am first time Hyundai buyer (t coupe) with Infinity as my last two cars. I went to the dealership to inquire about wing badges and noticed that almost every employee (in parts and the shop) were driving Hyundai's. I was pretty impressed with that. Just show one how much better Hyundai has done in the last feqw years to clean up their act.

The dealership I went to in Plano, TX had a "package" they offered for the sedan. $1000.00 for wheel centers, front and rear badges and airbag swap. Little much I think.

I asked about individual sales of the badges and I was told they do not do that.

The Coupe is not wing badged in Korea, so while it might be possible to use the Sedan badges, most of the aftermarket wing badges I've seen are incorporated in the grille on the front and both front and back are the wings inset in a circle to match the OEM sytling.

Must agree that this seems quite pricey. Are they swapping out the entire airbag assembly? Or just high margin? Or both?

Yeah like all dealer stuff it's out of sight in price.

I also learned at the dealer that the coupe was not "winged" in Korea but I love the look and intend on applying one to the hood with an after market grill. I first need to know if anyone on here has done the hood trick. I have seen the pics of a few done but they were not posted by owner. Anyone?

I love my Gen coupe but i gotta say hyundais got all their design from exsist cars shameless ripoffs.. the new Elantra rear taillights are the same as the corollas...
