  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all,
First post here, been browsing, and searching all over the forum. You all are super informative. Thanks for the Wings install FAQ. Anyway I have a 2015 3.8 AWD Ultimate. Just bought the AEM intake to keep myself busy and get familiar with the car. The only other performance things I've seen is exhaust and muffler swaps. Any ideas or insight for projects would be appreciated. Absolutely in love with my car, and people stopping me in traffic to ask what type of car it is. Anyway nice to be a part of this community.

Welcome, first I must ask how you like the intake and have you noticed anything different that stock airbox? There are things you can do, such as lowering, wheels, and body pieces. All depends on what you want to do.

Hasnt arrived yet, September 5th. Then a free afternoon. I will let you know. Perhaps a few videos as there is a lack of those on the AEM. Someone from the forum did do a nice before after. But ill do some more in action videos. Im not trying to do too much to the look, as I think it is classy and gorgeous and I would only make it worse ha. I have to do my homework on a muffler swap. Nothing too intense, mostly things I can do myself. Was thinking the Dynomax VT's as I saw a lot of talk about them on the forum. Although it did seem there were differing opinions, and if I remember correctly, someone mentioned that they are now discontinued.

Cool, keep us posted on the video, I'm curious on the exhaust too, especially that center section that likes like a X pipe setup. Was going to have my guys fab up a x pipe and delete that mid muffler if that what it is.

I like the looks but I like the g80 sport looks better so full bumper kit will go on soon.

Got the intake, took old system out. Started assembling the new intake, and one of the plastic valves broke as I was threading in (didn't over tighten or over torque). So ill be calling tomorrow to see what they will do. Will keep you posted.
