  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As the title states,....
What vehicle would you be interested in, if you didn't purchase a Genesis?

I've always dug the older (2016) Lincoln MKZ. Not luxury of a Genesis, but still love the look.

Sonata.
I used to drive 22,000+ miles a year, now <8000. I have much of the same tech for many thousands less $$$. Just could not justify the cost just to go a mile to the grocery store.

Porsche Macan S. Didn't get it because comparably equipped to my GV70 it was over $100K.

Porsche Macan Electric if it were available (not sure if the query is for current purchase or purchase back a year and a half ago when I purchased my GV60P). The GV60P is a bit of a unicorn so it is hard to find alternatives. If I weren't so old, with severe stenosis, I would have said a Lucid Air (where I had been on the waiting list) but I have now concluded that my days of getting in and out of performance sedans has gone/ So trying to find another small SUV with luxury and performance is very difficult. These days maybe an Audi Q4 Sportback e-Tron Prestige 55. But if my GV60P were totaled today, I would likely get another; it would still be my first choice with the combination of features, size and value.

I bought a G70 2.5T Sport Prestige in January.

In the small luxury sport sedan category I considered the following:

Acura Integra
BMW 330i
Audi A5
Cadillac CT4

For me, the G70 was the best combination of style, luxury, performance and price.

I have a g70 2023 3.3 sport prestige. I looked at c-class amg and ct4 v series.

Brand new? An Audi A8 or a Porsche Panamera. I would look at a slightly used S8 as well.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
My ‘25 Tucson Limited HEV has been super and contains most the features I need. Good luck finding lane follow in any non-Genesis/Hyundai vehicles. Still, I will soon be looking closely at a ‘26 GV70 2.5 Sports Prestige for the massaging seat feature.

I'm really loving this beauty right here. Gorgeous, gorgeous vehicle with good power and torque.
Blue Nappa leather interior with orange stitching?!?! Yes please!

If I knew at the time that V12 sedans were going away, I would've bought a M760i or S65. Maybe I still will if values fall enough.

2023 Bmw M550i STOCK….
That or a M340i xDrive. And the M550i went away, a V8 in a 5 series that isn't the M5 will probably not come back.

I looked into the M340i and it was easily viable, just saw a 2023 M550 and I saw the light lol.
