  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If You Had It To Do Over, Would You Make The Same Choice?

Had our ultimate since new in 2016,dealer service has so far been excellent have a service writer that’s always willing to go the extra mile, sadly had several minor fender benders and again the dealers body shop provided excellent service…
or maybe it had to do with our grandaughter being a body shop parts supervisor lol.☺️

If you purchased or leased your Genesis from a GMA authorized retailer and consider your overall dealership experience (sales and service), would you still choose Genesis if you had it to do over?

Yup and yup.

September 2021 bought a 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Advanced sales and service out of this combined Hyundai local dealership that’s old and just ok feeling i have no complaints. Stand alone dealership has to be completed by 2024.

However this dealer was one those piggy ones with $6k market adjustment on GV70 and $10k on GV80. They tried hard on the GV70 sale to get above msrp but it was at they beginning of the piggy period so I survived the slimy process.

But I did tell them pigs get fed hogs get slaughtered and I won’t be purchasing another from them. I wasn’t lying. I remembered the dealers that weren’t piggy and contacted one 95 miles away December 23rd and bought a G80 AWD 2.5 Sport Prestige for $6,300 under msrp. They delivered it on the 26th and took my G70 in trade.

Best dealership I’ve ever experienced. (still haven’t been there to meet my sales guy…someday). They opened their stand alone dealership 1-2-23. First time I bought one online with pictures and phone call and electronic docusign. The first call they told me they don’t work off commission and will give me the best price up front no haggling. $4,300 dealer discount and two $1000 rebates. The GV70 had 31k on it and I was shocked what they gave me on trade. Lost $1000 of my equity from the GV70 after a year and a half and my payment went down $4 😁. I did go from 1.9% to 2.5% financing, but I had to do the deal. Got a new car with a year and a half free maintenance (that’s how long the complimentary maintenance lasts for me).
