Ignition Light on or Off

I have a 2013 Genesis with 55000 miles on it and lately i am seeing the blue ignition light ( start /stop switch) to either flicker or go off completely the car doesn't turn off or have any issues but to me this seems a bit off as far as i remember the light should remain on for the duration the car is ON. Is this an indication of battery issue or just the light in the on/off switch?
