How can I turn off the ring tone that sounds with starting and stopping the ignition on my 2012 Genesis.

Check your system settings. Some would say, "read your OM". I know on the 2012 Azera the start up tone can be turned off, and I would assume the 2012 Genesis has the same capabilities.
