  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I know that there are probably not too many of us here that is willing to spend almost $200 for this little detail but I always wanted to have a car with illuminated door sills and had to get it. I think I found a great deal. I will post before and after pics including the installation process. Can't wait!

Thought about getting these a few times. Price isn't that bad I just dion't know how much of a pain in the ass these would be to install. Please keep us posted on how it goes.

I do like the look of the illuminated sill plates. Enough so I wish the rear door sills in my car had them as well.

While they are cool to have beware their not real bright, has to be quite dark to really see them, my son in-law installed them in our 16’ Ultimate
And they were a bit of a job to install, using the correct harness makes it easier but be prepared to spend time removing under dashboard panels.

I like the challenge :-) It just shipped out and will be here on Friday. It is going to be a nice weekend project. I don't expect it to be extra bright so it does not look after market. I just want it for a nice luxury touch.

Did you get the wiring harness as well?

It says that the kit includes installation instructions and necessary harness.

Sounds good’ I had to purchase the harness separately, have fun!!

Interesting. I hope they really include them. If not, I will run to Autozone and do it my way :)

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
If there is no harness, I will plug it in to the footwell lights. I might do it that way even though they provide harness. It will be easier.

Got the package today. Harness and instructions were included yay! I just read through the instructions and it seems like very easy project. Will do it tonight and share more pics :)

Looks complete. Who'd a thought you'd need a full size keyboard to turn them on though.

They have been very generous and tossed it in the package ;-) I realized shortly after posting the picture that I should've put items on the ground or clean up my desk before taking the picture... lol :-)

Couldn’t wait until I get off so I decided to it on my lunch break lol. Installation was easy and instructions are very clear. I didn’t take too many pictures as I had to do it quickly and go back to the office. I used the harness provided and had no problems. It looks great! I wish it was brighter though...
