I'm raising awareness of White Satin Pearl owners and other's that have had bad experiences with paint.

Bought 2013 Gensis Coupe brand new, white satin pearl. just outside of warranty, paint started to peel. waited until car is paid off and got new brakes and clutch, but now i'm putting hyundai on blast. these issues are common with this paint color, and there was a failed class action lawsuit (dunno how it failed.)

I know they also used this defective paint on Genesis sedans.

So while I LOVE my genesis coupe and it has been nice owning it, it has been embarrassing to drive with paint like this. I'm putting Hyundai on blast.

I knew a guy at work that had a blue coupe - his paint looked like a shedding lizard.

I hate to ask, but if you can follow me on some larger platforms so I can grab Hyundai Corporate attention, it would help my case and others who have had bad paint issues.

I absolutely love my car besides the paint. The sedans always look like nice buys too!

I purchased a burgandy Genesis in 2018, it is a 2015 model. I have clear coat peeling real bad at base of trunk lid.
also rear bumper is fading.

No good results from dealer- out side of 3 year warranty.
I would join a class action suit and will go on facebook to Hyundai paint sucks

The paint was peeling a little on my pearl white 14 on the bumpers and now it is going full peel on both the front and back plastic bumpers. The metal parts of the car are ok. It's always been garaged. I am glad I found you. I have had Hyundai Corp update the navigation at the dealer before I'm hoping I can bug them enough with credits to a body shop to spray the bumpers again. It looks terrible right now,

The clear on my rear bumper has started to yellow in one spot and peel in another, Nissan had paint problems in late 00s and early 10s that they also refused to recognize.
