  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm soooooo tempted...

That's an insane price.

Mileage?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
If its new, that is the best price I have ever seen.

It must have 200,000 miles on it.

They have a second one for $75 more too. It most likely includes an extra $900 in military/recent grad rebates so keep that in mind.

There is one in MD for 38,522+dest which works out nearly the same.

I'm not too upset since my base V6 was 29k and change, but I would be upset had I bought something more optioned and then a few months later saw this.

How about that review by "Big Russ" from Las Vegas. No wonder they had to drop the price.

Guy's N Girls..
Beware of that Amazing Deal - If it's to good to be true it may be.
Even New cars have been known to have been damaged, flooded and have a zillion other issues fall upon them...
Once it has been swapped between various dealerships no-one really knows the TRUE history..
Choose and Spend Wisely...............

These could also be service loaner, or demo, vehicles that have never been titled. Most dealers will also tell you that they have a car, or two, that were driven gently by the owner's wife. How gullible do they think we are?! They sell these cars as new, but they are obviously used cars.

I'll tell this story again...

I located the Genesis of my dreams online at Pohanka Hyundai in Salisbury, Maryland. It had a few thousand miles on the clock as a service loaner. I arranged for them to deliver it to my house (about 200 miles). I asked them to send a letter verifying that the car was free from defects and accident damage. The car arrived on a truck, along with the letter, as well as three major damage items, including a slash in the middle of the dashboard. Naturally that "new" car made the return trip to Maryland within an hour. I never could understand why they spent all that money trying to foist damaged goods on me. It never cost me a dime. It's been 18 months since that happened and I am still wondering what poor SOB ever bought that '12 titanium/black 3.8 from Pohanka. I guess selling cars is a lot like trying to find an eager woman in a bar. You just keep trying until you score.

Some car dealers think we are all shmucks
Some never learn, some get better & some become "more" honest..

Pohanka is the dealership that told me they were doing me a huge favor to sell me an r spec for 44k, and they turned down higher offers.

I would HIGHLY recommend taking a printout of these cars to your local dealership, and using them as a bargaining chip to get a car you have seen in person.

BTW, the car near me that is about the same price:
I went to go look at it. It had about 40 miles on it. Had pinstripes added (negative for me), black plastic door guard bumpers pasted all over the car, a couple areas of pretty rough scratches, and one door wouldn't open when unlocked.

I took the price and bought a car elsewhere with it :)

wow, and no whining about the wrinkled leather seats. :welcome:

There is always someone who has paid a lesser price, who has a faster car or a bigger boat. So what? If the price is so good, just buy it. Bragging about finding a lower price is just simple bragging. It is very well known that dealers advertise lower prices on the internet sites like Autotrader and Cars.com. Usually, these prices include universally-available Hyundai discounts.

As for thinking that you will get the same or better deal on the 2015s when they first arrive, keep on dreaming.....

That White SPEC has a beige interior. Something that is rare for an R-SPEC.

When you say rare, you mean non-existent right? Black is listed on the Hyundai site as the ONLY interior color for the R spec. I have seen several Oregon dealers advertize an R spec, and the picture shows a car with obvious 18" wheels. If you call them on it they always claim " well we can get one in for you." I am to the point of being disgusted with most dealerships. Once you get the car off the lot they are very nice vehicles,
Bill

The 'build and price' for the regular website is wrong. Build on a phone and you can select cashmere with both black and white exteriors for an r spec. I have also seen both in person.
