If its new, that is the best price I have ever seen.
These could also be service loaner, or demo, vehicles that have never been titled. Most dealers will also tell you that they have a car, or two, that were driven gently by the owner's wife. How gullible do they think we are?! They sell these cars as new, but they are obviously used cars.
I'll tell this story again...
I located the Genesis of my dreams online at Pohanka Hyundai in Salisbury, Maryland. It had a few thousand miles on the clock as a service loaner. I arranged for them to deliver it to my house (about 200 miles). I asked them to send a letter verifying that the car was free from defects and accident damage. The car arrived on a truck, along with the letter, as well as three major damage items, including a slash in the middle of the dashboard. Naturally that "new" car made the return trip to Maryland within an hour. I never could understand why they spent all that money trying to foist damaged goods on me. It never cost me a dime. It's been 18 months since that happened and I am still wondering what poor SOB ever bought that '12 titanium/black 3.8 from Pohanka. I guess selling cars is a lot like trying to find an eager woman in a bar. You just keep trying until you score.
When you say rare, you mean non-existent right? Black is listed on the Hyundai site as the ONLY interior color for the R spec. I have seen several Oregon dealers advertize an R spec, and the picture shows a car with obvious 18" wheels. If you call them on it they always claim " well we can get one in for you." I am to the point of being disgusted with most dealerships. Once you get the car off the lot they are very nice vehicles,That White SPEC has a beige interior. Something that is rare for an R-SPEC.
