  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm torn between the 3.3T prestige vs sport. Need some advice on what to go for

Some please advise which one I should go for. They are almost the same and I'll just be using it for daily driving.

Test drive both in Comfort Mode. The biggest difference is the active suspension in the Sport. If you can't tell the difference or like the Prestige just fine, get the prestige.

Otherwise it'll come down to appearance. Do you want cream colored seats? Prestige. Do you want dark chrome? Sport.

Between the two Trims, I don't think you'll go wrong with either.

I think the web site sucks on making comparisons. One difference is the appearance. That is a matter of preference and you'd really have to see them in person. One big difference is the wheels, not everyone likes the sport wheels.

Prestige says heated rear seats. Not a consideration if you mostly drive on you daily commute with no rear passengers. Sport says Smart Cruise Control. I use the SCC often and really like it.

If you can find both trims at a dealer, drive both to check out the features and take your time going back and forth comparing details. There may be that one feature you just can't live without on one trim but not the other.

I did drive the prestige today and it does have more leather options and it handled rather well. I do like that the sport comes with seat bolsters and the lsd. But they don't seem to be essential.

The sport has the leather stitching on the black leather. One downside of the sport is I'd have to switch the tires in winter as they are sport tires and the prestige are all weather.

So it's a very confusing choice.

Went through this decision making process myself. Finally took delivery of 3.3 Sport AWD with red stitching and love it including the wheels. Summer tires are nice in summer but may be an issue later in year. Borderline here in Myrtle Beach as January is coldest month with average of 40F. May be a few day when I should not drive the car. Either way you will have a fabulous car.

The 3.3T Prestige HAS seat bolsters and LSD too The only thing it doesn't have is the Adaptative Suspension. I went with it because of the 10 spoke 19" rims in the RWD and because of clear interior.

I seem to be leaning towards that as well. Which color exterior did you end up choosing?

Everybody’s needs and preferences are different. You have to try to acquire as much knowledge as possible of the features and options not to mention price to make a meaningful decision. Avoid impulsive determinations. Mine took four months from the time I decided this was the car worthy of trading in my 2015 Genesis Ultimate. I liked very much the look of the car but was not in favor the “boy racer” look. As such I didn’t want the mag style wheels and blacked out chrome but I did like all the features that came with the sport package and being limited to said color interiors was also a problem. A dilemma for sure. After a period of agonizing months, I made my decision. The only thing as I’ve said before I would have liked is the active suspension but not enough to change my mind. Think long and hard about what you decide.

Sorry, you must be thinking of the Stinger..

😉
You see, the difference is some like a performance car with luxury and some like a luxury car with performance. I lean toward the latter. There’s no right or wrong here just opinions. For the record the only appealing aspect of the Stinger is the engine and I have that with a much nicer wrapper.

I went with Prestige AWD because I did not want to switch winter/summer tires (well, switch or store, etc.); the AWD has the dark chrome wheels which I preferred over the Sport or the 10 spoke wheels on the RWD (and I wanted heated steering which in US is limited to AWD). I went for the lighter interior as well--although I like the stitching on the Sport.

There are lots of choices/options, and a lot of it is mainly personal preference--not really a wrong choice. :)

I do LOVE the HUD -- it is terrific, so am very glad I did not go with a trim that does not have it. Other than that, not sure you can go "wrong" -- just have to figure out what works best for you.

I love the blackened out chrome and the stitching on the sport model. I think I will be going for the sport model and likely switch out the tires for some all seasons, so I can drive them in the winter as well. Also, siberian ice only comes in the sport model and I seem to love that color lol.

Just got my g70 3.3T sport :DIMG_20190907_173527.webp

Wheels as a deciding factor is not the best way to go cause that is the one thing you can actually change for the better. I didn't really care as long as it was 19".
The interior on the other hand you're stuck with. I knew I wanted the Caramel Brown and it had to be Nappa.
