  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm wondering what the 2019's will cost with the import tariff's?

Don't know what the tariff's are for American goods entering Korea.

President Trump wants to level the playing field.

The retard hasn’t gone after S. Korean manufacturers yet.

Any month now. They need to release this freaking car.

Currently the import tariff on Korean vehicles is 2.5%. If any, I wouldn't anticipate any significant change.

Should be none by now according to an old trade agreement

We ship them cars made in the US but most are not US brands.
In 2017, Koreans registered just over 42,000 U.S. made vehicles, many of them sport utility vehicles. Of those, nearly two thirds were vehicles made by German or Japanese automakers in their U.S. factories.

Under the FTA, there is no tariff on imports of cars either way, but the 25% tariff on truck imports into the US still holds.

Also, the US is allowed to export to Korea 50k autos which only have to meet US safety and emissions standards.

I'm a virgin here; this is my first post. Any updates on the tariff situation since July. (I know it is day to day.)
